Thoughtful, Meaningful Gift Ideas for Valentine’s Day

Gift Ideas for VDay-1.jpg

Valentine’s Day is always such a hard holiday for me. My husband’s birthday is January 16th, and since he is literally the HARDEST person to buy a gift for, I am fatigued from finding two gifts within 3 weeks of each other.

So, once the day of love rolls around, I am just straight up out of good ideas. But in all honesty, this post is less about great gifts for guys, and more about gifts you (as a female) could ask for or a gift idea for a Galentine!

I think Valentine’s Day should also be about showing our friends how much we love them. I am also a big fan of meaningful gifts that will last longer than a Starbucks gift card (even though that’s a great gift!)

Valentine’s/Galentine’s Gift Ideas:

Write the Word: I asked for one of these journals from the Cultivate What Matters shop and I am already loving it. This would be a great gift for a friend, for yourself, for a new mom, for your mom, etc. This journal is great for anyone! I personally chose this one. But any of them are great!

Joyful Mama tee: when I surveyed the my audience, I came to find out that a lot of people were wanting apparel. I had no idea, but the people get what the people want! This is one of the first pieces of apparel that we’ve added to the shop. And we will be adding more! If you aren’t a mama, we still have something for you. Keep scrolling :)

Date Coupon: sometimes the best gift can be a gift of our time! My love language is quality time, so whenever I get intentional, one-on-one time with my husband, I am so happy. If you or your loved one values quality time, consider making a simple coupon for a date night, a hike, a movie, a massage, a pedicure (for a gal pal??), or something special that you share! Get creative!

Customized gift: in our relationships we have all sorts of sayings, quotes, or words that means something extra special. For me, my mom always used to say “I love you more.” So, I made a print for her. Is there something your mom or your loved ones says a lot? Or a quote that means something extra special? Consider having that quote written on a print, or created on a wood sign. Words are powerful!

Marble and Gold Bar Necklace: a sweet friend of mine makes this gorgeous jewelry! This necklace is a current favorite.

Mug Set: looking for a cute gift for a newly engaged or married couple? These gold foil mugs are the perfect set! Or maybe you want them for yourself! We won’t tell.

Wild at Heart tee: as promised, a non-mama tee for the shop! This material is SO soft and the color. Holy whoa. You are going to want to sleep, yoga, and repeat in this tee. We won’t spill the beans if you buy it and end up keeping it for yourself. (Also, don’t forget that there’s FREE shipping for all orders over $50!)

Beautiful Watercolor Notepads: these are gorgeous! They make you want to make lists and be productive! You can use the code BEMINE on jlynndesignery.com for free shipping on their order through the end of February

Business Investment: do you have a creative entrepreneur friend who would love the help of some business assistance? An amazing gift would be education. That could be a coaching call, a business resource, an online course, or chipping in for a conference. I have several friends like Jessica Peddicord (art courses), Kat Schmoyer (business courses + resources), Megan Martin (do business better resources), and Lauren Carnes (communications coaching) who are all amazing women! I personally offer coaching and business resources as well.

What do you have on your wish list? Do you like Valentine's Day?

My personal favorite day is Galentine's Day and you can get FIVE FREE GALENTINE'S DAY CARDS HERE.
