Woohoo, we made it to Friday again! There’s something so wonderfully celebratory about Friday. I always feel so energized on Friday and excited for the weekend, time with family, and hopefully time for rest! This week I’m sharing some of my favorite things that I’ve listened to, tasted, or tried for the first time! All things that I am loving. I only share something that I’ve tried and enjoyed. Promise.

Stoble Coffee:

some local (new) friends are roasting their own coffee! They are also building a coffee shop and I can’t wait until it opens. Until then, they are roasting and selling coffee. And it’s GOOD coffee. I was lucky enough to be invited to their home office this week! They made me a DELICIOUS latte, Knox played with their two girls, and we talked all about business. I cannot wait to share with you soon about what we discussed and how it impacts you. It’s all very exciting and I hope you love what we are working on! Until then, make sure you check out their website and maybe order some coffee? It’s delicious and the decaf blend is perfection. 10/10 would recommend!

Ruggable:

if you follow along on my stories, you might have seen me share about our new Ruggable rug! We picked the Kavi Diamond Silver Rug. We put it in Knox’s room and it’s perfect! At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it because it’s a “flatter” rug, compared to the more plush versions we have in other spaces in our house. But, I’ve actually really grown to prefer it! It’s the perfect style for a kids room that is scattered with toys and used for lots of activity. These rugs are stain resistant, machine washable, and non-toxic. All wonderful things, right? The Drop Out Podcast:

this podcast is about Elizabeth Holmes and her company Theranos. You might remember hearing about the massive fraud scandal from a few years back. If you haven’t, then just take a listen. It’s fascinating and crazy. I also suggest you watch the HBO documentary The Inventor: Out for Blood in the Silicon Valley. I watched the documentary first and then listened to the podcast. I feel like I understood and followed the podcast easier because all the information I had learned from watching the documentary.

Seltzer Water from Trader Joe’s:

I recently eliminated a lot of foods from my diet. But let me clear this up: this is not for weightloss of any kind. I don’t want you to get the wrong idea! I have a history of digestive issues, so it’s pretty normal for me to have to eliminate certain foods from my diet. Up until recently, I’ve mainly eaten a dairy free and gluten free diet. In 2019, I kinda let loose and ate way more sugar, dairy, and gluten than normal. It kinda caught up to me and I wasn’t feeling the greatest. Per the suggestion of my naturopath, I eliminated all dairy, grains, gluten, sugar, and some starchy foods (like potatoes). When I say zero sugar, I mean ZERO. No honey or maple syrup, even. It has not been easy and it has not been fun. But, I *do* feel better, so that’s a plus! ALL of this to say, I recently found a flavored water from Trader Joe’s that makes me feel a little less deprived. Ha. They have three different flavors, I went with Blood Orange and Orange. There’s no added sugar, just the fruit juice, which I can have a little bit of. So, win for me! It’s yummy AND the branding is perfection.

Rosewater:

I’ve actually had this bottle of rosewater for awhile and recently started using is again! I like to use it right after I shower and just spritz it all over my face. I also sometimes spray it on mid-day like a perfume if I am feeling like I need a little revamp and freshening up! I can’t claim to know the benefits of rosewater (ha), but I like how it makes my skin feel and this article makes me think that it’s pretty great and it’s worth using! Plus, it smells delicious. I love this one!

Wishing you a wonderful and joy-filled weekend!
