My Friend Anna

My sister told me about this book a week ago and I finished it two days ago! Granted, I listened to it on Audible, so it went quicker than it would have if I was reading the book. I had not heard about this story and my sister was shocked, but I basically live under a rock. So, I’m not shocked. All this to say, it was a great memoir type book written by a young woman who was conned by someone who she thought was a friend. It’s the story of a “fake heiress” and it would be a really easy read for a trip or for reading before bed. I listened to it on Audible and listened when I went running, on walks, and while I packaged orders. Would recommend, 10/10!

This Sweatshirt

Sorry, not sorry that I picked one of my own pieces of apparel to put in the Friday Favorites blog post. Honestly, this piece is truly my most favorite of all time. It is SO cozy and it’s super cute too. If you haven’t grabbed yours, make sure you do soon. Our preorders are almost sold out, so we don’t know when the next restock will come. I CANNOT wait for it to actually cool down so I can wear it all day, every day. This sweatshirt is also one of my favorites

Tiny and Snail Notecards

The Tiny and Snail business story is one you need to know about! In short, it’s a greeting card company run by two sisters who want to see happiness spread via mail. In 2018, one of the sisters suffered a traumatic accident and is paralyzed from the armpits down. They are both such lights for gratitude, positivity, and kindness. On top of that, their cards are ADORABLE and there are so many tiny touches that make them truly one-of-a-kind. Take a peek at their shop, support their efforts to spread love, and tell them I sent you their way! I love everything they make, but this card is super cute! And I also love this one.

Nutpods Pumpkin Spice

It’s officially pumpkin spice season, y’all! I am not a huge PSL fan and I also don’t drink dairy milk or artificial sugars. So, I guess I’ve never really had one. I think I’ve tried a sip of one, but I digress. If you’ve been around here for a bit, you might know that I LOVE using Nutpods creamer in my coffee. The best non-dairy creamer there is. Well friends, they just released their limited edition Pumpkin Spice creamer and you’re gonna want to try it! As someone who doesn’t love Pumpkin Spice drinks, I was surprised by how much I liked it! If you use code RACHEL_ALLENE you can save 15% on your order on Nutpods.com! They also have a free shipping option, so WIN WIN!

Rainbow Purse

This week, we were going out to dinner with friends to celebrate a birthday and I had an urge to go buy a new outfit for the outing. The last couple weeks have been really busy with my Fall launch, and I typically buy myself one new item I’ve been eyeing after any launch. Even if it fails. It’s a way to congratulate myself for working hard. It might seem weird, but it helps me celebrate even the smallest of wins! So, since things have been so busy, I haven’t had a chance to pick out something I wanted to buy as a celebration of a successful launch. I decided 1.5 hours before I needed to be at dinner that it would be a good idea to take a toddler shopping with me to find a new outfit. Praise the Lord that my Mom could come with me for 20 minutes or else it never would have happened. Knox was running around the store with a dress I had picked out and was pretending it was a kite. LOL. As I was about to check out, I noticed this purse and I didn’t even care how much it was...I knew I wanted it. I checked the tag and it said $34.95. I felt like that was reasonable enough. Well, when I checked out, it was 50% off!!! AND, I just found it online and it’s 60% off! This is not an affiliate link at all, I just love it and I thought you might want it too!

Ends & Pieces

This is one of my favorite items to grab at Trader Joe’s when they are in stock! They only have them seasonally because they are the “ends and pieces” of the fruit leathers that they make. I like that they are small pieces and all the different flavors, so I am not stuck with one flavor! An easy snack for moms and toddlers and delicious too! They aren’t in stock all year round and typically go quick, so I typically grab 2-3 bags at a time!
