Business Resources You Need in Your Business
Running a business is a lot of work.
There are countless hats we wear as entrepreneurs. Every day, I am a CEO, operations manager, accountant, marketing manager, shipping and fulfillment coordinator, customer service representative, sales account manager, social media manager, personal chef, chief decision maker (CDM), copywriter, graphic designer, joy and grace cultivator, and so much more.
I pray that one day I will have a team who helps me wear all these hats and juggle all the balls, but at this point, it's just me. Sometimes, I love that it's just me. I am not incredibly eager to add team manager to the list of hats I wear. That seems like a lot of responsibility!
In order to run my business and not lose my mind at the same time, I rely on some pretty amazing business resources to help me.
At this point, my most favorite business resource is Convertkit. Ever since making the transition from Mailchimp, I have never looked back. It has helped my growing my mailing list, add opt-ins to my blog, streamline my systems, and create EASY sign-up forms for various challenges and free downloads. I can't say enough about the service.
If growing an email list is important to you (which it should be if you're a business owner), then you should consider using Convertkit. They have incredible customer service, their pricing plans are affordable, and growing an email list has never been easier (and quick!).
Alright, we can move on from my love affair with Convertkit.
Another business resource I love is Squarespace. I also made a recent switch from Wordpress to Squarespace and it's been a dream as well. Squarespace is exactly what I needed for my non-coding brain. Everything is easy to set up, move, and customize! I also believe that my new website reflects myself and my brand more effectively. In addition, I was able to create my own Squarespace shop which makes my shop easier to use and more customizable. It's an all around WIN for me.
Another resource that I believe helps businesses connect with their audience in a more effective and efficient way is through the With Grace & Gold Templates. Andra and Kelly have created beautiful templates that will help take your website from "meh" to "ah-meh-zing!" Seriously. And if you think a website isn't important, well, then you cray. A website is like a book cover. It's how your potential customers and clients make their first judgment of you. You want to WOW them, right? Well, then you better start here.
One more business resource that I recently started using (I know, I must live under a rock), and LOVE, is Google Docs. I mean, I've known about Google Docs for ages, but I didn't start using them for my business until recently. And it's one of the smartest moves I've made recently. It is so helpful to have all my documents and content in one place. I have been traveling a lot and it's been a life saver. It also makes it easier to communicate and share information with my coaching clients. It's a win-win, I tell ya.
So, what's the moral of the story?
It's time to switch to Convertkit and Squarespace. You need to meet Andra and Kelly at With Grace & Gold, and you should definitely use Google Docs if you don't already.
Got it? Mmkay, great.
